Manhattan Bridge (2019)

Crossing the East River in New York City, The Manhattan Bridge was one of the last suspension bridges built to connect Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. Constructed in 1901, this bridge has become a staple of the city. A unique feature of the bridge is the four large decorative globes that sit on top of the bridge. After 110 years, the Department of Transportation felt that the globes needed replaced. Trumbull Foundry was able to be a part of the reproduction process and was asked to help recreate these iconic globes.
